Family Program:

“One evening per week is dedicated to family treatment. For family members who are unable to attend, FSC conducts family teleconferencing sessions on a regular basis.”

Position On 12 Step Involvement:

“12 Step involvement is essential, out of area patients are referred for residence to 12 Step oriented, professionally operated sober/community housing, becoming quickly involved in Delray Beach’s large and active recovering community. FBC hosts an open Eating Disorders Anonymous meeting every Wednesday evening.”

Position On Approach to Compulsive Overeating vs. Anorexia/Bulimia:

“Treatment and meal planning are individualized and monitored per psychiatric, psychosocial and nutritional assessments, group therapy and weekly individual sessions with a psychiatrist, primary therapist, registered dietician and certified exercise physiologist. Regardless of diagnosis, the objective is to normalize healthy eating behavior rather than prescribing food restrictions.”
